Fitting -'80 headlamps and bezels to a '93 240

My '85 came with broken amber markers and quad clear+yellow rectangular sealed beams. I liked the look of the amber markers, so I replaced them with a good set. The quad rounds have also been upgraded to the Hella H1/H4 conversion lights instead of the original sealed beams.

Definitely better looking with the quad rounds. The amber markers just don't look right with the 81- quad rectangle bezels, IMO
Hard to make out from the pics, what did you do to replace the bumper trim/hockey sticks? Is that early (commando) trim painted black?

While reading this post, something bubbled up from the depths of the memory banks about being able to use Volvo Truck headlight assemblies to install 7" round headlights into the later 240s. Did a quick search, found this post:

These truck parts will allow you to keep your existing body panels but the overall aesthetics may not be what you are looking for as well.

Nah, not feeling that. The bezels look really generic, like those aftermarket ones posted earlier. I'll be happy with the 4 rounds. Getting them from SwedishIron :-)
If I have to swap fenders to make it look right, I have clear -'85 Cibie marker assemblies , I sold the ambers I had years ago. If I really hate them I will look for Cibie ambers, although I imagine they are $$$ now.

 I'm a bit embarrassed to say, but it's just missing the bumper trim. I have a well weathered set in a box waiting for me to rejuvenate, or repaint, the dried-out plastic.

Cleaning up nose panels - I need this upper tie plate, this works with either setup, which is to say this plate supersedes the >85 version

Differences between the headlamp mount plates and lower tie plate are evident in these pics

Left fender has a boo-boo I need to address, other than that, minor rust on both to fix
