Free VE Table Corrections — Drop Your MSQ and a Datalog, I'll Do the Rest

@HiSPL How is the new table treating the car?
I loaded it today and went the long way to work. Incredible!

Car runs so smooth and the big improvement I've noticed is the throttle response. Its great. Rev matching is much easier and I feel like the car has a touch more torque. It pulls very clean to redline.

I am exceedingly happy about it! Thanks dude!

I appreciate it. As you can obviously tell, I was struggling a bit getting everything lined out, so I'm welcoming any and all insights lol

I am still with you, refining the deceleration filters, in the tool. that is the reason that your bottom rows are at 100 ego is correcting air on throttle lifts, i have it most of the way there I mean i can do things manaully but i would rather have to tool see the issue. I have that mostly worked out,

Autotune is correcting the air when on the way back to idle. I am filtering all the crap, and trying to make sure that i correct only steady state data even my tool was showing this as lean before my last update. I am trying to get this thing where some one can drive log and do one click fix, as it stands now its close. I will go ahead and send you a table pretty soon.

Great thanks ! I’ll get round doing a log maybe this weekend
The big thing is to get the car to touch as many of the VE cells as you can. So low load high RPM, Hi load Low RPM, etc. You've kinda got to flog it and drive it really weird to get as much data as you can for the tool to work with.

Yeah I’ve messed with autotune via tunerstudio before and had to do the same. I’ll just take some time to drive a specific route and get as wide of a reading band as I can.

With or without EGO without EGO Is something we can do if you want, this takes a couple passes I am more conservative with other peoples cars than my own. Try interstate on ramps, hold rpms back roads a bit of city driving. 30 minutes or a bit more is better I am working on getting the tool to process multiple logs in one go but for now it does not like that, its on the back burner for now. I feel like I have a method that for the most part nails down the lag from combustion to wideband reading. Filtering out the trash is the part I am working on now.

The table was such a wreck, that the changes I did I just gave EGO authority over your entire table.

Need a longer drive. If something seems off stop the drive. revert to your old table. Honest it was so out of whack it makes me nervous. The Tune I uploaded I changed a lot of things interpolated vertical from the sparse hits I did have, and like i said gave the entire table ego authority that just makes me feel better.

Here is just the table changed with the data you provided.

Try this one if the msq is wonky in any way.

@HiSPL

I will absolutely report back asap. My transmission swap is almost complete, just have the driveshaft install and setting the rear pinion angle, and fluids. Might take me a week or two admittedly, as I work slow but consistent lately. I'll be sure to upload and update asap.

Out of curiosity, what was a "wreck"? I know I was playing with the reqfuel, as when I entered all my info into the calculator, I was seeing 60-90ve at idle. I was playing with the reqfuel-ve table scaling to try and get those numbers down. I felt like I was doing something wrong, but the car was running and driving (probably poorly, but nothing excessive). I figured any wonkiness was just a matter of tuning it out, but maybe I was building off a screwed up baseline?

@Jamesmoore Ready when you are.

drive 1

ok this was my first attempt at this, not sure if i logged correctly. i uploaded the csv onto google drive as couldn't upload it directly. hope that its viewable.

this was my drive home from work. with EGO correction turned OFF.

let me know if i need to do something differently.
