griding down keyway on yoshi timing belt kit ?

Anybody have to grind down the key way on the crank timing belt pulley from yoshifab ? it sticks out farther than the pulley itself so the bolt wont sit flush. am i missing something here? ?

I had to broach a key way into my harmonic balancer if that's what you mean.
