Huge Front Sway Bar?

Anyone try out one of those foxbody front sway bars on a 240 wagon? The big 34-36 mm ones? Reason for asking is that I can have one for much cheaper than an ipd 25mm and I'm curious how much it would affect the ride quality. How much understeer and jarring over bumps would this produce? Currently have an ipd rear 25 / stock front and can feel the wagon being tail happy :)

Those extra huge sway bars are usually hollow, so they have the same effect as a smaller diameter solid bar

I mean, if it fits, try it. It'll certainly be better than the stock wagon front, which I believe is 19mm. I think having a stiffer front than rear is better, handling wise, unless you want a tail happy brick.

The inside does very little. The stiffness of a solid is relatable as the 4th power of OD, i seem to remember. . A 1” OD piece of 1/8” wall tube is as stiff as a solid 7/8” bar, i think.
*did the math, it’s a little more stiff
*and way lighter

It is a 4th order function of the diameter. That is correct.
