Hi
I’m trying to run these injector adapters
With these Injectors :
www.speedingparts.co.uk
However I’m running into an issue with the fitment of the adapter.
The internal diameter of the adapter measures 13.7mm and the outside diameter of the bottom injector seal measures at 14.5mm. The adapter will not fit over the seal, it will damage the seal if I force it.
What is the solution here ? The stock o ring measures at 14.5mm OD x 8.5mm ID and 3.5mm thick.
The closest off the shelf seal I can find is 14mm OD X 8mm ID and 3mm thick. Would this work ?
I guess the slightly thinner seal would be ok but it would be fairly loose in the adapter, I believe 0.5mm is the ideally squash on an o ring I’d be at 0.7mm, doesn’t sound a lot but high pressure petrol isn’t something I’d want to leak out or blow a seal.
Any advise
Cheers
