Long term 84 242 project with poorly defined goals

Spent an hour and a half at DVS today getting the title transferred. So I now officially own the 242. Gonna have to go back when it runs for collecter plates.
 
May have wasted $100 today. We'll see. Out of a 96 850R Got some evaporust in the bad holes, I'll look into it more tomorrow. Really more of a long term thing for this car, but ADD gonna ADD.
Head seems ok, should clean up fine. :e-shrug:

Exhaust valves are fine if a bit grungy, intake valves are almost all bent. :oops:
B230 is still fine.
 
Saved the crank girdle off that I5, sold the head for $20 and a 6 pack.
Nearing the end of stripping the 244.

Gonna get the rest of the front sheet metal, the rear end, and the gas tank off, then bye-bye.

The cut out chunk of inner fender will replace the mangled bit on the 242.
