Maxspeedingrods replacement hardware?

I’ve got a late b230 with the max speeding connecting rods installed

I’m doing some bottom end work soon and there’s a chance I’ll be changing the rod bearings

Can anyone confirm what hardware I need. The rods don’t currently have arp bolts in, just the ones that come with the rods.

I’m aware I can reuse the hardware, but I’d rather just use new. Is it safe to use arp bolts ? What part number do I need for a pack of bolts

The only thing I can find on their website is ARP 2000 3/8" bolts

Thanks

My rods came with “arp” hardware, but I’m fairly certain it was counterfeit. I bought some real arp bolt and compared them and you could see some obvious differences.

I currently have the same problem. I wrote to ARP and asked if they manufacture for Maxpeeding. No response yet. They are 3/8x1.6 inch (40.6 mm) bolts. I have now ordered genuine ARP bolts.

Many shops indicate that the bolts should be purchased individually. Among others, KLRacing points out that connecting rods often come with counterfeit ARP bolts.

Ludi this is perfect !

Thanks again for your expertise

So to confirm, I can order a set of 3/8 X 1.6 arp bolts and they will work, for example - https://ebay.us/m/f63meB

Could you provide the link to the bolts you ordered ?

Between the cars I've put Maxpeedingrods "ARP" bolts in, I've done about 80 000km, driving like a jerk and routinely going to 8000rpm.

Never had an issue. With ARP lube, burnished threads (lightly torquing and untorquing several times) they stretch the right amount for the torque applied and the size.

If they are counterfeit, they're good counterfeits. Forged heads, rolled threads, correct amount of stretch expected for the amount of torque applied.

Same.
I wouldn’t get too worked up over using the “fake” ARP bolts.
