Saturday, June 20 Midsommar “Vikings & Volvos” 10-3 pm, Swedish Historical Society, Rockford, IL - A reprise of an event several years ago.
Saturday, June 20 Great Lakes VCOA Gilmore XII, 9-3 pm (Mich time) Hickory Corners, MI
Sunday, July 26 Bishop Hill Antiques & Classics Car Show 9-3 pm, Bishop Hill, IL - We have our own Swedish Cars Group.
Sunday, Sept. 6 Scandinavian Day 9-3 pm - Vasa Park, Rt. 31, South Elgin IL Our own Swedish Cars display.

Is there any interest in celebrating Route 66’s 100th Anniversary? Maybe a day drive to Pontiac Area?

We usually relate to the Geneva IL Concours de ‘Elegance Club Corral in August, and for FuelFed members, the many Coffee & Classics in the Chicagoland, Milwaukee & Douglas MI area during the driving season.

Any other ideas out there? A preseason Meet & Greet in April/May? We are Chicagoland based, but an invitation to surrounding Volvo owners/group events are always welcome.

I can't make the June 7th. But the June 20th, July 26th or Sept 6th are possibilities.

Yeah, July 26th in Bishop Hill is the most likely one that I'd be able to make.

Annoyingly, I'll be in the area on June 7...but I won't be able to attend...(coaching volleyball in Aurora)

Sep 6 is an option, but might be tough...we're in the school year by then...
