Finally got my flywheel and pressure plate back from the machine shop. I had bought my clutch and pressure plate setup under the impression it was for a dogdish flywheel and it was not, so I had my flywheel machined flat, a new bolt circle drilled in and the whole damn thing balanced.

Got it back and with the PP bolted down the fingers are drawn in WAAAAAAAY too much..

So maybe someone can help me out here.

Pressure plate is a saab/sachs -202 240mm unit

Clutch is a clutchnet 6 puck, 7.5mm thick.

With the pressure plate installed and no clutch, there's 3.5mm between plate surface and flywheel surface.

What clutch thickness do I need?

I used a stock 240 turbo pressure plate with my clutchnet 6 puck t5 disc and it worked fine, I've heard with the saab PP, it may need washers under it to space it out a little bit since saabs used a different clutch thickness?

I'm not 100% sure if I'm right though.

Yeh, I did some searching and called up JohnV, I'll shim it out to where I need it. Something about the DIN spec for european clutch discs being thinner than those used in the USA.
