MountainMeet 10 (Holy Crap) September 2-7, 2025

As the garage door opened and my wife walked out to greet me and my daughter as we stepped out of the 361,000 mile 745 we'd just taken on a 1,200-mile shakedown run and I severely overheated in the middle of it, I said "That's why Volvo's slogan is "never don't trust a Volvo."

It ran flawlessly the final 600 miles home, AC and all, and with a stereo in it for the ride back thanks to Nate "I'm the only guy who brought an actual turbobrick to a meet for Turbobricks" Meador. It's also very, very slow.

Jared, Bayleigh, James, Nate et al, thanks for the fantastic weekend. Denis, thanks for barely snoring. I especially love that we got nearly half of the OG SE crew together in one place, most of whom admittedly had already done this in my absence many, many times.
