MountainMeet 2024, September 17-22

I went to bed tuesday night with a dry and scratchy throat and woke up wednesday with a positive covid test which is why i bailed on you guys. So sorry i missed it this year. Looked like such a great crew (again) and lots of missed laughter, stories, and important inspirational motivation to go work on my cars!
Missed you guys. See you next year.. in a 240 i hope!

I'll be watching the Events forum for the NC work weekend gtg's. :cameron:

Have you any interest in a free B23FT block? Its bored 2nd OS but zero miles. Probably best to sleeve it, else risk 97mm & cyl wall failure. It had the mains resized, so its smoooth now (had the wrong main caps when I got it).

I ended up robbing the new pistons from that FT block, and with much help from MikeP, punched out my B23F block from the now-crushed '87 autocrosser. THE engine will live on in my '92 244, hopefully making its return to MM next year.

I hope you are feeling better, we missed you for sure.
I know a guy with a 240 who likes working on other people's stuff. Maybe he would feel like hitting a Cary wrench meet.

Yeah i'll let you guys know, i'm up in ashburn often enough as well. The b23 block was the one you mentioned before to me? yeah i definitely need a block.. just not sure what i'm doing with that particular project just yet. My flathood may be an easy one to revive. Might not.

Cool. Once I have the design, I can list them on my store as a regular item and provide you a hefty discount code to use. That way you can pick shirt size and possibly color if the design will work on different colors.
 
All...The shirts are listed on my site. You can choose shirt color, size, and if you want design on front or back.
