Mouse stuff and heater box 960

I've got a 960 that got field mice in the heater box. I really don't want to tear everything apart in the dash. It's been years since I did a heater core in one of these and all I remember about it was pain...

What would my best access point be with a Shop-Vac and a 1in hose? I'm debating a hole saw at the moment but if I could get most of it down through the vents it would be better.

Thanks for your input

How/where do you think the mice got in? I'd do a vacuum where they got in and a compressor with a blow nozzle on the intake side. Do both outlets, and turn on the blower after the first round of vacuuming.

I'd start by removing the plastic panel in front of front window... You should be able to see the blower motor from there, if you don't see a nest, my next step would be to remove the blower motor, witch is located behind the glove box

Thanks for the input folks. I'll take a look tomorrow and see what I come up with. Can we post photos directly to the forum now or do we still have to host off site. It's been a long time since I was here
