Nc Cr3w Meet - Drag Racing, Feb 23rd - Mooresville dragway

Alright guys, I think we have the detail ironed out (more or less). Looks like we are going to be doing some racing this time. We're gonna be going to Mooresville Dragway on the 23rd of February 23rd (Saturday). They open test-n-tune at 1 pm (as long as its over 50 degrees) and its $7 to watch and $15 to race. Doesnt make a difference whether you want to race or not, everybody that can should roll out to this meet and try to make it big. We haven't had a good meet for a while. Racing at mooresville goes until 5 pm, we should plan on grabbing some food afterwards at somewhere in either mooresvile or concord mills (probably have better luck at concord mills, plus some decent roads to get there).

Again, lets try to make this one a big one.

I'll try to be there too in the Camaro assuming it doesn't break again... lame... if not I'll prolly show up in the wagon and spectatulate. Hey asher, is my ole' blue car gonna be there? I'd love to see how it does now that it's setup proper...

Sooo, yeah, I"ll post back if things change. Are we going to try to meet up somewhere before we head there?

Count me in. I may even race! At least I'll see where I stand. Should have the full V-banded 3" exhaust finished by then. I plan on going stage 3 on the clutch in a week or two. My release bearing sounds like a suicidal banshee and it's getting on my nerves. Even got pulled because the cop thought I was peeling out! Had to push the clutch in to convince him that I was just sitting still! :rofl:

I'll see if i can get Hogg to come out and one of our other friends with an unmodified 740. BTW, I'm running my own Automotive business on Sunday's if anyone needs any maintenance or mods performed. I'm just starting out so I don't have much in the way of fabrication equipment but, that's all about to change. Also, I'm ASE certified in engine performance and electrical/electronics systems not to mention I've been in the field for at least 8 years. My labor rate is $40.00 /hr. for maintenance and $65.00 /hr. for performance mods and diagnosis. Getting in to Mobile computing solutions as well. Got big plans; I'll help you if need! L8R

same here....on both parts.
i want to see the aka my old blue car too

and hopefully the mustang wont break again...

i'm a maybe.
 
I hope I can make this one only a 90mile drive.. I have a freaking page full of stuff that needs to be done to the 84 244GL..

If I do make it there won't be any racing for me.. (Clutch is slipping bad....)
