New 8V cast iron top mount T3 manifold

sure. but what's the point if you're only going to sell like 10 lol. there's already an established (relatively) easy path to 16vt and it's not like we're burning up with em lol.
Tru, but leaving torque on the table through the entire powerband bothers mine frontal lobe.

So does that angle look like the turbo will fit without going into the strut tower?
I'd feel better if they actually mocked it up in a 240. The 240 photo they show is not using that manifold at all.

It sure looks like the turbo is just sitting on top of the n/a manifold for this photo, and the manifold is not even bolted to the head. Makes me a little skeptical with advertising like this, but I hope it turns out to be a good product for the community.

They said on Facebook it's using the jig they used to figure out flange placement. If you look in the image you can see two steel rods between the turbo and engine holding the turbo up

all concerns aside (not that I'm downplaying them, just not talking about them here).. if no one jumps on board with this, you can bet there will be no v2 or other flavors made. I think it came out to around $450 shipped when I ordered yesterday, I don't see how it can be worse than the OEM manifolds that are getting a bit harder to come by, but then again this is the cost of doing stuff for somewhat marginal markets. Anyway, I will (hopefully) have an opportunity to test this out, although given all my plans and recent pending acquisitions, I'm not sure what that's going to look like. I've also got a backlog of like 6 months on videos because... reasons.

You have a strong point with this. I do plan on placing an order soon.

I’m ordering one as well. I can’t run ac with the “extreme” from kl. it’s nice but takes up way too much room for my liking. And the very front lower stud is the bane of my existence.

I've ponied up the dough. I swore I was finished with my car but this came up. So now. . .
  1. manifold - done
  2. down pipe
  3. turbo
  4. intake
  5. EMS?
  6. . . .

Preordered one for similar reasons. Figured there is little downside to reflanging one for my purposes regardless of whether they make another run of these, in the same or other flavors.

Hopefully it’s better than a NA 16v manifold and up pipe :e-shrug:
