Oil pressure ports on B21F?

Is the only sender port next to the alternator and oil filter?
I tried to install a vdo sender so I could have a gauge and I just dont see a way it can possibly fit.

Now towards the bell housing in line with the filter and sender is another blocked off port. Might this be another oil gallery? Or a coolant passage?
Any thoughts?

You need an elbow fitting so the sender doesn't hit the alternator. The one Volvo sells is expensive.

You can get a brass street elbow at the local auto parts store cheap. It may not be the exact same angle though.

Here's an old post with some pics of the different elbows.

Oh ok thanks. I tried to use a 90 but it say to close to the block. My local store only has 90s in 1/8th npt. Oh wells. Ill order one
Thanks!

Be careful with fragile cheap brass elbows. Once I bought some brass ones (probably Amazon). Installed and it cracked very quickly from the NVH a B21 produces. Tried another and it cracked. Bought some steel ones and they cracked. Never had a problem with the original Volvo one though.
Now let's here from all the peeps who've never has this happen so I know I wasted everyone's time.
