Options/Opinions on gps/backup cameras/screens for early dash 240s?

Im curious what people are running in their early dash 240s... with the standard slot for the head unit down behind the shifter, it seems inconvenient for any head unit with a screen. I enjoy having GPS and android auto on screen, but I dont want to ruin the classic style. Anyone running something that is kinda low-key?

I might just stick with a phone mount and just keep an old school single DIN head unit in the regular spot.
 
There are some with single-DIN chassis but bigger screen.
Also, some Garmin GPS navigators can support an optional backup camera.
