Tested the motors and cleaned them with Deox it.

got color matching spray. Put on the first coat today.

I been busy getting daughter's car smog legal so we didnt put much time into real work on this, mostly gathering parts

sanded and painted the front bumper with SEM

compared to the rear

Installed the front trim - it took me an hour to get everything to fit - WTF

installed the rear valance with new hardware

@dbarton new ignition harness came in
new vs old

partially installed with late model accessory bracket

rings and caps have been polished since and I found a dent free one too

keychain from where the car got bought back in 93

spent our time cleaning the engine bay and front core support. Parts got pulled off for coating and some already coated got put back on with new hardware

welded up the horn bracket hole

removed the ICU, washer motors and bottle, as usual there's some wiring to repair

same on driver side

after scrubbing

front tow hook was missing. I had a spare one

front nose piece was missing hardware

installed driver front bumper trim with new clips, reinstalled headlights on passenger side

Thank you. LA cleaner then wipe down with acetone - the discolored paint stains

it all warrants powder coating!

Nothing inside, tank was super clean to begin with, plus I don't have a way of coating parts that I can't reach with a coating nozzle

Yesterday I spent like 4 hours blasting hardware to be zinc coated, Im about 2/3 done

I sprayed undercoating in the front wheel wells where paint was showing. I still need to remove yellow overspray from plastic inners

I normally use 3m stuff but this is what was available at Traitor Supply

IPD bars, KYB strut mounts, poly bushings, IPD lowering springs.... waiting to be installed. I hate the IPD blue (aka industrial blue) on cars so it's all black now

took me 30min to realize I installed two washers on the lower CA rear bushing I looked everywhere

back to driver side, everything is on but needs to be tightened down

this weekend I went to PNP and got front seat covers, door panels and window guide seals and various little junk. Donor car has 120k miles on it, cloth front covers will do for now as I cant find any in vinyl
