I been busy getting daughter's car smog legal so we didnt put much time into real work on this, mostly gathering parts

spent our time cleaning the engine bay and front core support. Parts got pulled off for coating and some already coated got put back on with new hardware

That looks sweet. A fuel tank is a fabulous location to warrant a powder coat treatment.

Do you perform any magic to the inside surface, too?
it all warrants powder coating! :cameron:

Nothing inside, tank was super clean to begin with, plus I don't have a way of coating parts that I can't reach with a coating nozzle

Right on thanks! Those are some impressive results. Are you using a pressure washer at all?
 
Yesterday I spent like 4 hours blasting hardware to be zinc coated, Im about 2/3 done

IPD bars, KYB strut mounts, poly bushings, IPD lowering springs.... waiting to be installed. I hate the IPD blue (aka industrial blue) on cars so it's all black now

this weekend I went to PNP and got front seat covers, door panels and window guide seals and various little junk. Donor car has 120k miles on it, cloth front covers will do for now as I cant find any in vinyl
