Sure, it's got way more insulation than my 245 and on that one it was a huge difference especially in the heat.

this exit vent was junk, I pained a blue one along with rear seat belt reel covers

added insulation

I wont use thinsulate where the spare goes, trim installed

finished off the passenger front floor

added dynamat and heat insulation under the cargo floor

somehow I never noticed these provisions to clip the carpet on, so I did

added thinsulate and dynamat to the bottom of A pillars

installed the front carpet

found that MEK removes the black goop stuff from carpets without damaging it

before

fixed the washer pumps wiring

painted front door sills

stated painting a tan headrest brown

installed sun visors

painted the trim in the trunk, it was blue, installed new hardware and powder coated the aluminum

driver seat installed

passenger seat rail installed

found my dykes after looking for them for over an hour ( they were under the carpet)

gathered up late model ac parts

Curious, have you seen that floor rust on the pass side on 86 and later cars with the galvanized bodies?

I dont really have that much experience in the 86+ cars but my gfs 87 needed floors and that car was garaged most of its life here in California. The passenger front rust I believe was caused by the floor plug being pushed in allowing water to get it and stay there. Water has a hard time getting out from under the floor foam/rubber/carpet, galvanizing just slows it down. It's been decades since the last one was made

1982 had black seat trim, I also pulled inner windshield trim as the original one is cracked. I also got a replacement for the brake line I cut while repairing the floor

My single prior owner, 150k when I got it, garaged its whole life, indie Volvo shop / dealer maintained 92 240 has similar rust on an otherwise rust free and pristine chassis.

A neglected for a month windshield seal at any point during its life would net similar results without attention after 30+ years.

UGH, if only I could have some nice vinyl seat covers instead of these more comfortable, pristine fabric seats that don’t stick to my sweaty skin! But alas, this 'girlfriend' keeps taking all the good stuff.

driver side floor, ran out of undercoating

Morgan sold me ipd exhaust

but then didnt include the straight pipe portion

started installing engine accessories

pulled the original condenser, drilled out its mounting brackets and attached them to the late model one. I will naturally powder coat them before final assembly

I need to add weatherstripping foam on top of it too, like it originally came with

Today I sandblasted parts to coat, pulled late model door seals from pnp, installed radiator hoses and accessory belts

I had a set of NOS silicone radiator hoses that came with the 77, installed those with the stainless ABA clamps

does anyone know where to order these individually ? this place has them but you have to order 10 minimum

IPD sells ABA clamps by the eaches.

If you don't want the shiny silicone look (I fuckin know you don't) and haven't filled your radiator yet you can scrub the hoses with 0000 steel wool and then rub them down with (real) talc.

Here's an example. I did my 3" inlet hose so hopefully the smogman don't notice my ways.

You can keep going and really get the sheen out but it's a bit time consuming.
