popping noise on front right suspension

car: 1982 244 b23

new steering rack
new tie rods
new bushings for the front lower control arm (front and rear)
new springs
new struts adjusted with the Bilstein tool (have b4 struts)
new volvo genuine ball joints
new strut mounts (good brand)
strut mount reinforcement plates
new sway bar end link bushings
new front wheel bearings (original castle nuts)
the brake rotors are tightened with new hardware, screws, discs, rotors, pads, hoses, hard lines

original lower control arms, but already inspected for cracks and damage (they have new bushings front and rear)

I have the firewall brace single strut mount bars to the strut mounts and also the yoshifab ones under the car connecting the axle subframe to the main subframe

the sound happens when going over bumps, when turning the wheel a rotation--the strut mount is new and the ball joint is new. the tie rod nut from the steering rack is tightened strong.

Left and right every suspension piece has been replaced equally. the sound is only on the right side

pulling up on the right front wheel arch causes the sound as well as pushing down on the hood with force. it can also be replicated pushing the car from the roof trim in a side to side manner

Anybody ever go through something like this besides figuring one of the new parts is bad?

Check front cross member bolts (2 per side). Good luck!

You need someone to help you out. Have someone move car and you can try to pinpoint where the noise is coming from. How did you tighten the control arm bolt that goes through the engine crossmember? Did you tighten with the suspension on the ground or in the air ?

Maybe the ball joint mounting plate is loose on the stud that goes through it? I have had the stud turn and you think you got the stud tight but you didn't because you turned it to the nylock part of the nut and it spun instead of making it tighter.
