Powersteering got the shakes

Do any of you have any opinions/experience with Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak additives?
Can help swell up the seals to reduce leaking, but that's not the problem you're trying to solve?

But powersteering is more of a luxury than a safety issue (right?). At the moment I'm thinking that's a luxury ill have to do without
Depending on the width of your tires and your arm strength, it is most helpful at low speeds (especially parking), not really needed at higher speeds.

Based on PS diagrams I was beginning to think that the issue is an internal bypass leak in the steering rack- perhaps a leak in the seals that separate the two hydraulic chambers (left-turn chamber, right-turn chamber)? Might explain the lack of PS fluid leaking

I've got a similar problem myself, all started when I fitted a new steering rack + quick steer roll centre correctors almost a year ago. Has persisted ever since.

No matter what I do, it seems air is still getting into the system. I've fitted several new pumps, spent quite a bit on PSF fluid, and must have gone lock to lock at least 1000 times now.

There are no visible leaks and the belt is tight. Going lock to lock while the front is jacked up is shudder free, but not when parking, and on slow sharp / hard turns when the pump is under it's highest load. Seems to only happen when the fluid is warm and up-to-temp.
