R sport cluster voltage stabilizer in 76 242

It would appear my voltage stabilizer is toast and it doesn't seem like there are any available anymore. Does anyone have a work around? Can I just bypass it and send 12 volts to the 2 gauges? I know dave barton's page has something about a tiny solid state stabilizer that might work, does anyone have any experience with it? The stabilizer in my factory gauges was working so I plugged it into the R cluster but that didn't work either.

It's basically a 10 Volt voltage regulator from what I remember. If it is indeed a 10 V then you could probably make this work: https://www.datasheetcafe.com/tca700y-datasheet-voltage-regulator/

This is what I'm using in the r-sport cluster in my 76 242. Works great!

Thanks for the replies, those factory pieces are crazy expensive! I sent a pm to 2turbotoys and hopefully I can buy one of his.
