Rare Volvo parts that you have!

I just picked up my second Volvo, a 1994 945T last week. The rare (ish?) bits I know of:
Chrome wheel arch trims
A glass leccy sunroof (on an SE Turbo Wentworth)
Hatshelf load cover
A working radio with CD changer in the boot

I also have a 1986 745 with a b230k, both are auto unfortunately, but I did get an m47 for free off a mate. The 740 did come with a roof rack on it but that appears to be from a 240 perhaps as the design is a bit different from all the over 7/9 racks I’ve seen. It also came with a dog guard and all mounting hardware but the previous owner kept it sadly. Not sure if the 7 actually has any rare bits but it does seem perhaps a bit of a weird spec.

I also have a set of 4 galaxies ready to go on the 9 once the tracking is sorted

Not sure how rare this is but I picked up a NIB sunroof deflector for a Volvo 240

I’m digging the green!
Don't use it. Just keep it safe in the box. Long ago I bought a new blue one to replace the old cracked blue one on my car. Volvo still sold them and I installed it. Looked great for a few years then cracked around the screws just like the old one. So it's gonna crack if you use it. Shame because they look so nice.

Also just found out today that I have an integrated booster seat in the rear bench

I picked up a set of Recaro seat hinges from a 123 GT in a junkyard recently, the car is pretty well rusted out but the seat hinges are complete. They are pitted with rust, I was wondering if there is a way to refurbish them, or to just try to sell them as is. I will post some photos later

I have pair of untracked 240 door pockets some optional extras rear window blind cassette holder
Not so rare the tray mats always looking for more

Got a very nice set of floor consoles this week, soft type.

Something other than the "long load" armrest/hatch?

I think they might have introduced this feature after the 940 was discontinued in North America...but yes, late 940s elsewhere in the world had a booster seat built into the armrest. I have a hunch it didn't really succeed either as an armrest or a booster seat, but it was quite neat!

cheers

James

My buddy's 95 940 has the booster
