Rare Volvo parts that you have!

From the brochures on 240.se

1979: 264 GL in Allegenhy Black (limited edition apparently)
1980: 4 door GL in 141 Richelieu Red / 4 door GLE in 019 Diplomat Black
1981: 4/5 door Diesel in 141 Richelieu Red/ 4/5 door GL in 148 Secana Red metallic / 4/5 door GLE in 148 Secana Red metallic / 5 door GLT in 148 Secana Red metallic / 4 door Diesel in 148 Secana Red metallic

Seems like it disappeared past 1981 in the US market at least
Found two or 3 but they were all 242 first year turbos

Thats a different interior actually, its called silver on the brochures, and only the cloth parts on the seats and the cloth stripe on the door cards are white, the rest is black

pls let me know if you have those seats or know of where to find a set :oogle:

So much nicer than the generic ones available today.

The cars I saw had what’s in the executive car the cards were black with silver stripe

Idk you had a picture posted earlier but I don’t see it

edit looked like this

What seats are those? They look suspiciously similar to st205 seats i put in my wagon
They're CRX seats, IIRC. This was the 4th car they'd been in. They're currently sitting in my '78 264 in the garage,

my math is off
I didn't buy that 242 until the 244 I had was totaled in 2012.

Either way, it was a while ago. :)

Siick theyve got a lil more aggressive bolster than the Celica seats do

I'd have to say that the 240T triple gauge "blank off" is probably one of the most rare of "modern" Volvo production parts...
I have one and posted it here years ago and was poo-poo'ed that it wasn't rare because there were still some showing as in stock in Sweden.
I'd bet they only made one production run of whatever the minimum was... and most never went anywhere

^^ looks like they are still available when I search that part number - but yeah, not sure who would buy them to actually use. Snatch em all up now to hoard and sell to future turbo bricks weirdos
