Hey y‘all!
I want to rebuild our 940 to a overland vehicle.
Now I am searching for a way to lift the car about 5-10cm (2-3 inch).
The plan is to lift the car a bit and put a bigger set of more off-road capable tires on.
Any suggestions and tips are well appreciated:)
Thanks for your help!!

overland vehicle.
Dont call it that.

240 lift kit for a 940 :cameron:

That luca car mod kit is the basic idea, but can be done a lil better and cheaper in my opinion (search lifted 740 - same as the 940 and more out there).
Also @240 240 is right don't call it an over lander, as it is an off-road beast!

Someone in the TB past built a lifted 7 series vehicle; I recall perusing the build thread and hopefully the pics are still good/linked. Cannot recall much more than it did exist.

thanks!
How would you proceed? What are the better/ cheaper modifications?

My setup:

Cut and sectioned about 2.75" of tube in front struts, dropped a bunch of big washers into the strut tube to raise the stock strut cartridge.

For the rear I used front springs out of a 95 jeep Cherokee - Stock shocks at first will work fine on a daily, and upgrade will be needed for off-road driving, i used ranchos shocks from like a 1998 F150 2wd.
