Hello,
No, it wasn't me that left the gas cap off after fueling, and then comes up with a story that someone must have siphoned the tank and pitcched the gas cap. Anyway, The gas door is also busted off or I would probably just drive it and get a new cap. It rained hard all day and the little woman was out and drove about 5 miles with no gas cap on it And it sat for another few hours in a parking lot. Of course, it has about 15 gallons in the tank. I may pump some fuel some fuel into glass jars to see if there is any water in it. Not knowing exactly when the cap went missing, it could have sat all night and through the morning rain. Its been raining here a lot. She said that it ran great, no sputtering or stalling. I guess the reason for my post is to see if the general conscientious is to completely drain the tank, and change the filter, or just change the filter and get a new gas cap. I guess the test samples will answer my question. Thanks.
