TREAT ER LIKE A HARLEY HOSS WHEN SHE STOPS LEAKIN OUT THE BOTTOM POUR MORE IN THE TOP
Its literally more than a drop every foot when leaving the driveway.
40 more dollars traded to IPD... again. Got it flipped around to do the rear brakes and grab the wheels off it tomorrow. Swap rubber this week and rock it I hope.

for those that are still in, who's in for mudbugs? (the grills will be available for other things if need be as well, at least one will be lit) I'll try and get a ack/nak from the earlier pages of the thread and list below-so there will be edits rolling for the next little bit.
not much to edit, no clear indications yet. so Sound off if you're partaking in the boil. I need to know cause I have to order the bugs ahead of time. hopefully the prices come down over the next two weeks, the boil we did this last weekend was..uh..well we just won't talk about that.
I"ll partake in extra spicy mudbugs

940.... is off the jack stands but needs to go back up. I tore the oil drain tube seal to the block, it leaks a lot. And the dipstick handle snapped off in my hand. And the radiator leaks. But I have a new in box radiator...

that damn return line oring always hosed me too.. I'm team AN all things these days. oil dipstick handle? boo that.

Eugene mentioned it to me. Its out of my (almost non-existent) budget. And don't have time now. Probably after I get ready to do the 531 head in the future. My +t car was drilled and tapped npt. Loved that. Once the new seal is in, it'll probably also get a liberal application of black RTV.

Just got confirmation from work I can take the days off I requested earlier, wasn't sure with a recent transfer. I'm in, I like bugs

Well, 3 strikes against the Volvo. Pro shops won't swap tires, they're older than 10 years.
Left rear caliper piston is seized. I punched myself in the face and broke my glasses trying to slide piston. And the rear rotors are junk.
All that and not having enough road time to work out any more kinks, I'm taking the Passport.

I'd be eager to get my hands dirty wrenching on something... Just won't be what I'm bringing.

Are there any experts that can host a small class for "People who want to maintain classic volvo's on a minimal but reasonable budget with the complication that their spouse doesn't care about their hobby?"
asking for a friend...

Push comes to shove we'll find something to do, there's all kinds of volvo shens available (deans comes to mind). Looking at the "week out" forecast, weather is nice to warm, anyone on the fence about camping should be good to go. We may toss the cams in the 16v car if things get froggy enough

I'm gonna swing by Good Deal Oriental Foods in North and bring down a bunch of Hmong sausage and pepper sauce. Seemed like something MN has that other states really don't.

Sausage acquired.

And two tubs of "pepper"

The store sells it deep fried in their deli, and it's absolutely the best in the cities; which makes it probably the best in the country.

Got the engine in, started, etc. Shake down over the next couple days, break in on the way there and hopefully I can sneak an oil change in. Fingers crossed the balancing activity actually helped the vibration.
