Great weekend ya'll! It was good seeing everyone (even though I was running around like a madman most of the time) and catching up. I'll have to post pics of Sam & Thou's exhaustive efforts on the pavilion wiring (promise this wasn't a trick to get additional labor around the house lmao).

Lots of very tasty tube meats were cooked and consumed, various beverages, countless drive-by commentary, some fun volvo dynos (if even somewhat subdued... Spencer's 363whp 8v rocked the house!), obviously the mudbugs, a surprise visit from Randy Pobst, all around good times.

edit: I had this typed up this morning but then work tried to shiv me, and I forgot about it til now. will get pics hosted and posted (what few I took)

...finally fully functional. did some burgers on the xl bge last week, gonna work it into the normal rotation for lower temp things (figure running the temp way up after the crack repair is inviting further chaos, but I suppose if it cracks again it cracks again)

Did a low country boil for work (that's the polite 'we couldn't get mudbugs' alternative for a shrimp boil... same shit just with shrimp) and it was almost alarming the difference in water quality during and post boil (As in... I kept thinking I'd left something out and the spice level was going to be at or below zero)... its just so much more clean without the er... mud...bugs. Anyway, that is all. would've rather had the bugs. shrimp is good, don't get me wrong, but there is enough difference there to have a strong preference.
