If the 760 is like my 960, which I believe it is, I feel it would pretty much mean an entire dash swap since the tilting steering column has the key facing into the column while the non-tilting one has the key in the dash panel. The entire mechanism won't fit AFAIK.
That said, a full dash swap has been done before, but I wouldn't envy the task in the least.

88-90 760 steering column interchanges with 91-92 940 SE, 92-97 960 and 97-98 S/V90. The multi-switches may not have the same pinouts.
You would be changing the entire dash and everything related to it. Even then, it is not a bolt in solution. Just find a Volvo with a tilt column or swap your car to an automatic transmission. That swap is easy.Has anyone else looked into this over the last 8 years? I've picked up a knee injury and I need to either convert to Auto or convert to a tilt wheel to allow me to straighten my clutch foot.
