tremec t5 resonance

I got the new spring in and boy are the detents strong! I'm actually a bit worried I may have gone too far. I did some rough maths and I think I've doubled the force on the detent ball. There was another spring (part number 9434K8) that looks like it might have been a step between. What are yall's thoughts?
 
It seems to shift fine though. Not difficult at all. And it finally feels like the 5th gear detent is actually doing something to keep it in gear. We'll see once it's back in the car.
 
i really dont wanna go back to that thing. plus i have plenty of low hanging fruit here with bad u-joint angles and such that i need to fix first.
