Volvo 940 temperature gauge slowly increasing

The temperature gauge on my Volvo 940 2.0 injection model vehicle is slowly going to the middle. In my old vehicle it was directly in the middle. What could be the reason for this? My other vehicle had mechanical injection.

If you mean it takes longer for the temperature gage to show a normal range operating temperature, check the thermostat. The B230 thermostats tend to break the loop that holds the spring/pellet assembly in place resulting in the thermostat being open all the time.

Sıcaklık ölçerin normal çalışma sıcaklığını göstermesinin daha uzun sürdüğünü kastediyorsanız, termostatı kontrol edin. B230 termostatları, yay / pelet tertibatını yerinde tutan halkayı kırma eğilimindedir ve termostatın her zaman açık olmasına neden olur.
Kötü soğutma sistemi radyatörü?, kaç mil üzerinde ?
I'm at university now. When I drove the vehicle, the weather was very cold, it was minus degrees, there was heavy snowfall and the hot air conditioner was on all the way. It took 15 to 20 minutes until the temperature indicator came to the middle and the increase was gradual. I will have my brother test it tomorrow. Will this cause any problems?

It isn't going to hurt anything to drive it the way it is in the short run. It does keep the engine from atomizing the fuel the way it should. It will lead to more fuel contamination in the oil. What you describe definitely sounds like a broken thermostat. No matter what the outside temperature is, the thermostat is designed to not open until the engine is at operating temperature. That usually takes 2-3 minutes when driving the car even in very cold weather.

Thank you very much my twin suspects that the indicator is broken but I know that if the indicator is broken it will not move slowly towards the middle. I have two brands such as Meyle and Magnetti Marelli which one should I choose.

I have never used either brand as far as a thermostat is concerned. I can't recommend either brand for that reason.
