Was a 28mm front sway bar ever produced for 700/900 cars?

I recently bought a 28mm drop front sway for my 245 (the one with room for a V6/V8). Upon trying to install it I discovered that it's definitely not intended for a 200 car. It's a couple of inches shorter from endlink to endlink, and the flattenend ends where it bolts to the the endlinks go are angled differently (I compared it to my iPD 25mm front sway).

So now I'm trying to figure out what I've got. It's not the blue or gold color found on iPD bars, it's more of a gray, and looks like paint rather than powdercoat.

Any ideas what I somehow ended up with? I thought maybe it's for a 700/900 car. I believe the guy that sold it to me did so in good faith, as he said he had bought it for his 200 but never installed it. It looks like a 200 bar, I had it sitting in the garage for a week where I saw it every day, but didn't realize it wasn't correct until trying to bolt it up.

Edit: pictures a few posts down...

Edit: Nope, it's not a 122 bar, unless the design has changed drastically. The one that's on iPD's website right now looks very different. The one I have has a much bigger drop in the middle, and the ends are angled differently where the bar turns to attach to the endlinks.

Here are pics:

OE Ford Mustang bar.

That's what I was thinking.. Not entirely sure though.
If you have a 25mm just run that, it's already stiffer than necessary for street use.

I don't think the 28 adds any noticeable stiffness, as the extra droop in the bar negates any benefit from the extra 3mm diameter.. IMHO

^ 24/19 on a 7-9 is a nice feel, especially on a wagon. I put a 25 on the front and although it stays flatter, it doesn't feel as good in turns.

There is a 28 bar on a Japanese truck, not a Toyota or Nissan but don't recall which other brand, maybe Mazda, that is a direct fit for a 7-9.

Depends on the rest of the setup Jerry. I've been running 25/25's which everyone says sucks but my car is flat and honestly, pretty neutral. Also gotta have decent springs and shocks to work with it.

Might be the B series Mazda, or the similar badge engineered Ford Ranger. 26 or 27mm I think. I've not yet got my hands on one to check though.
