Just picked this up from marketplace. I’m pretty happy with the purchase and will definitely put most of the parts into use. The seller just wanted it all gone and I was able to be the first that was interested in taking everything. He didn’t know much about Volvos and was just going off of what he was told. I’m pretty sure the turbo is a 16t(could be 15g), he said it was upgraded though I’m unsure. The head had an ipd turbo cam and gear, and a ported exhaust and intake. The shocks and struts are Bilstein b4 touring.

I’d like to ask you all about the ipd sway bars. From what he told me they were pretty old so I’m assuming they are from before ipd started painting them. Is this true, and how would I be able to tell?

Would you have taken this for $300? Is there anything I should look at before installing some of these? I’m very thankful I was able to pick this stuff up, but I’d like to here some of your guys’ 2cents.
 
Looks like a great yield for the money.

Sway bars definitely look like the old ipd ones, which were cadmium plated. I have these on my 940.
They had a sticker on them in the center, but on most that is probably long gone.
Plus I don't think anyone else made sway bars at that point besides ipd.
 
Depending on what cam is in that head, yeah - that seems like you got a really good deal.

Is someone swapping to an LS? That's the only reason I can think of to get rid of all these very specific parts.

From what the seller told me, the car was his buddy’s that was then given to his mother, his buddy was the one who built the car. They ended up scrapping the car because it kept “frying computers” and they didn’t have the time to chase the issue.
 
If I was building my +t now that would be a killer deal. Pretty much have most everything to make it happen. If you didn't need some of those parts you could resell and get the $300 back for sure.
