Weird Wiring Questions 1990 740

Hey guys,
installed a 940 sunroof in my car.
I was driving home today, had the rear defroster on and decided to tilt up my sunroof. It went all the way up and quit. So did the defroster. Checked fuse 21 and its good, replaced it just incase. Also the gauge lights are still good.

Any ideas?

spray the switches with electrical cleaner.
worked when our power windows and sunroof didn't function properly.

check you grounds for that circuit, you will find one that is not secured properly or coroded

Would one of those grounds be the sunroof, or is there a seperate ground for that circuit?

i would think its a wire ground, not the actual sunroof.

just checked. there is a ground wire coming out of the motor that grounds to the tray. good luck, , also check the ground for the rear defroster.

in the 240, its right at the base of the driver's side of the gear selector/shift.
