S/V/C What to look for when buying a 3.2 P3 car?

I got one of the Grom Bluetooth units for my P2 and it's worked well. Considered replacing the radio but then I'd lose parking sensors. Not sure if they make one for P3.

I had one, though I forget the brand, that fooled the P2 head unit into thinking it was the CD changer. That mostly worked well. I haven’t found any solutions for the P3 although I guess I could get any 12v Bluetooth receiver that has audio out and run it into the aux 3.5mm audio jack in the center console.
 
Quick question: I'm finally getting everything set for the drive belt service. I have the earlier engine with the goofy waterpump and the finicky compressor bracket.

Do I really need the READ seal installation tool and the compressor alignment tool or can I make it work it like the shadetree hack that I am.
