What turbo flange is this?

Hey,

New to the forum, greetings from Finland.

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I'm intending on upgrading the exhaust to 3" of my 1998 V70R FWD (EU). However, I don't and neither did one volvo parts guy recognize the turbo nor the turbo flange in my car. The turbo should be a Mitsubishi TD04HL-16T (at least according to the previous owner).

Any insight into this is highly appreciated!

On the intake side of the turbo. There should be a small data plate with the part number from Volvo and Mitsubishi. It looks like a Mitsubishi turbo to me but I can't tell the size.

Yup found it.

It is TD04HL-16T as it should be. I also found on the exhaust side casting the numbers "...89-13202 7" on the firewall side of the housing and also "760" near the exhaust manifold flange.

These seem to indicate that it is the later 7cm2 housing with the angled flange.

So I can’t visually tell if the turbine housing is 6cm or 7cm; but I can confirm it’s an angled flange which is all that matters for your downpipe
