Where's the AC condensate going?

I got the '90 240 last summer and activated the upgraded AC system with a recharge after the heat and humidity dissipated. It cooled OK but I noticed it wasn't dripping at all. I removed the drain tube under the in-dash unit (it was clear), vacuumed a bunch of leaves out of the area and put it all back. I thought it wasn't humid enough, so I forgot about it for the winter

Now it has gotten hot here in DC area, but it still doesn't drip. I removed the passenger side panel to access the tube and see no evidence that any water is present. Where could the water be going?

AC cools OK. It is better on the 940; never measured it, though. The 90 came with the old style refrigerant so it was converted R134-A.

Maybe it just isn't getting that cold? Run the AC for a while and quickly inspect the coil to see if its even wet.

Here's the dew points the last couple days in Washington DC courtesy of Weather Underground.

Looks like it was pretty low, so if your A/C isn't pulling the evaporator below 50F, it's probably not cold enough to condense water out of the air. The higher dew points are usually during the night when you won't be running the AC (at least not yet...)
