Wide band sensor location suggestions

I finally bought a wide band. I’ve noticed the 940 downpipes have a bung in front of the catalytic converter. Would this location be acceptable for the sensor?

I put mine about 8-10" from the turbo outlet, but I built my own downpipe.

At least 8 inches from the turbo or it'll get torched. And tip angled downward is best, otherwise moisture can pool and ruin it.

Weld bung into exhaust header. Literally all it says.

This is an auto meter unit fyi.

I’m going to drill the dp and gas braze the bung into place.

WBO2 sensors need to be installed post-turbo but pre-cat, with a recommendation to be as far downstream as possible (close to the cat) to keep EGTs lower and therefore extend sensor life.

For reference, the mounting details on page 10 of the AEM UEGO instructions below apply to the Bosch LSU4.2 sensor which is a commonly used sensor across a lot of brands

This is the type of stuff that really pisses me off. It feels like they're selling products that they know nothing about, which is not what I'm paying for. At least give me best practice and why. Show me you know more about this than I do, not just that you have access to resell it.

I referenced the above but ended up mounting it about half way down the vertical(ish) part of the DP. Seemed to work fine.
