Will older bumpers bolt on to an 86+ 240?

Will older 240 bumpers bolt on to an 86+ 240? Specifically the rear bumper. I'm having a hard time finding a rear bumper locally (too expensive to ship), and maybe broadening my search will get more results.

Yeah towerymt had commando bumpers on his 90.

They looked hardcore/retarded. Almost like a special education graduate had assembled the car.

Yes shock struts and all it works.
Top bumper trim,and holes in the body are different.

83 was the first year of skinnies.
Do you mean 82?

There's going to be too much space between the body and the bumper. No trim will be able to cover the gap.

Thanks guys, I was finally able to find the correct bumper so I'm set.

Could be imported from Canada. They had the big bumpers through '85. MikeP has a Canadian '84.

With a little work, the commando bumpers will go on the 86+ bumper shocks. But overall, it doesn't look very good.
