242 on the heebspeed dyno

Yeah my memory prob failed me here...

..but it was maxed out by a Honda tuner in Florida.

it would be amazing to see a 100mm tb on the 8v oe intake haha. I suspect its a 60mm tb if it's been punched out, but it didn't really look like it had been when I briefly had it off to install the tps adapter. realistically, anything over about 65 to 70ish mm is probably overkill on anything except the max-ist of max effort builds with power goals in the four digit range. the Q45 in the gold car looks neat, and it's not as big as it appears to be, but there's really not much difference in power output from 80% on up (except that pulling back to 97% turns the nitrous off :-D)

This has been a true TB story. I bought this engine in 2009 and RR started building it in 2004 I believe. Kenny has been awesome to work with. I believe I got the throttle body? The shop that stored and installed the engine may have misplaced it. I found a picture of what it looked like.

when? I'm not saying it's not possible, but it would really take a fairly large amount of power. At the throttle plate, its only ~80mm

I don't recall the tb on the car looking like that, but.. like I said, I didn't look that close lol. That looks like one of the old MVP punched out tb's, but I reckon it wouldn't be a big thing for someone to make them. (hey, first project on the mini mill? maybe!). Anyway, I'll play with the tune on the dyno a little later this week (maybe even just a little later today), see if it can be stretched past 6000 a little.

What does TB think this car will make a @15 pounds if it made 315/360 at 22#? Will the m46 survive till this fall. Stay tuned!
