960 95 960 vacuum hoses

Found a couple of vacuum lines that aren't hooked up.
Top hose from this device has another 90* boot on the other end but doesn't connect to anything:

It looks different than my 96 960.

Then there is a larger hose with a screw/bolt in it:

(center of the pic)


Any ideas?

A little google-fu tells me it's the EGR control. I wonder if Matt bypassed the EGR?

Hard for me to tell since my daughter's C70 is acting up and she took the 960.
 
I don't remember fooling around with the vac lines, the thing ran too good for me to mess with it. Looks like a VW/Audi bolt
