Vagabond...again

Would like to see. I think its the wheels that make it look cartoony :p That being said, I really like it.
 
no im no miracle worker i am just a bachelor with a lot of time on his hands with a mig welder and some cut off wheels and a grinder and fortunately there is also a wawa across the street within walking distance and a beer distributor in the opposite direction with about the same walking distance and to be realistic i am only 5'8" so its completely comfortable for me to sleep on the back seat of my car which really gives me no reason for me to ever leave the shop and go home which would probably avoid me writing run on sentences like this.
 
Wheel width? Tiresize? And adapter thicknesses? Im running 16x9.5 all around with 225 40s 2" front spacer 1.8 rear.

Looks good!

thanks everyone. im getting a lot of positive response out of this build. the biggest compliment im getting is on the "color combo"

16 x 8.5 all the way around. 30.3mm adapter in the front. 50.8mm adapter in the rear. 195/40 front tires... 205/35s in the rear.

again, not the tires i really wanted, but they were free. so im running them. they are really expensive tires too from what i found out.

cheap is good. free is better.
 
had a local photographer want to shoot both vagabond and the ugly twin...or " the tramp" as its has been deemed. cant wait to see how these photos come out. she is the photographer for "royal stance". there is a page on facebook for it. The main picture is a BMW that we (our side business, "manntricks") did the suspension work on....a long with a bunch of other cars on the site.

but anyway, as soon as i get to see pics, ill move them to here.

i'm thinking about taking vagabond, but that depends if my buddy's brother drives too. we only have 2 parking spots at the condo we rent...plus, i really hate trying to drive around OCMD during h2o. stop go stop go stop go stop go.. its the only vacation i get and i like to drink the entire time.

you know, just being responsible...

Yeah but think about driving like 3 slammed Volvos deep, JUST SAYN. Also for the past three years we have had the same condo and they had a strict 3 car parking policy, we had 6 cars LOL
 
h2o is definitely an experience every time. we just watch people be idiots. we like to relax and enjoy the cars. kinda past the age of going out and getting wild. that was about 5 years ago. no we drink at the condo and pass out around midnight.

yea.. grownups.
 
I will agree that there has been a huge rise of idiots going the past couple of years, I just like going, seeing cool cars, cruisin the strip and meeting up with people I dont get to see to often.

i still love this car. but i feel ya on the "bumpstop hero" thing. mine looks goofy if its at a ride height that rides decently :-P

Love this tread, and the end result, especially when you consider this car was headed for the scrap yard!
Out of curiosity, what does a set of those 'Vette wheels cost.
