Vagabond...again

thanks guys. ill try to get this done soon. ive been getting swamped with VW coilover/airride job on the weekend. car show season is upon us and everyone is at me right now because i'm the only guy in town who apparently will slam cars. ill try to get a current pic of the "ugly twin" before i paint it.

just so busy right now. want to build my own stuff, but cant make money working on your own car.. you know?
 
this is how it sits as of today. cant wait to get this thing all one color.

I got us hoked up with internet at the new house JUST in time apparently. F*ck yes!

EDIT: in regards to the hitch, if you can manage to get it off without wrecking it, then I'd love to eventually have it. if it takes cutting torches to get it off though, no worries. those bolts looked knarly.
 
thanks guys. i dont really like body work. thats why rat rods are my thing. but heres the finished product of that spot. ill miss the rust monster

sorry guys. i got laid off from my job and ive gone into survival mode. this is on hold for right now while im trying to figure some stuff out. i have all the stuff, but i'm doing a lot of free lance work. cant make money working on my own stuff

With that paint and wheel color all you'll need is a feather for an antenna and a plush velour interior and your car will be the pimp on the streets. Hope things turn around for you!!
 
had a turn of some luck. got a hold of a friend that i did an air ride set up on his mk3 gti that i never really asked money for... he agreed to buy the adapters to mount the wheels and let me paint the car in his garage. going to try to get some body work done this weekend. car may make a big turn around this weekend. hopefully.

she may not be ugly for long. but she'll be a tramp

in other sad news.. Vagabond got side swiped while parked. Seems buffer worthy and one dent that can probably be pulled out... thankfully nothing is wrinkled. but who ever did it has a black car. im on the hunt.
 
alright, finally got the body worked finished that i wanted to take care of. some of the blemishes are staying... i just like rust. but regardless, i should be painting this tomorrow. the adapters are on the way i believe, all i need is some tires.
