Deb the 940

Just FYI a header helps a lot with spooling compared to a. 90+. I've had both on a couple cars and i would take the header every time.

I thought about that. But I like doing it one step at a time to feel the difference for myself. Plus it's just easier for the install for now with the 90+ and the DP I have.

I actually wish a company made a better aftermarket cast exhaust manifold. Something that flows better than stock but retains stock location and durability! Like a beefed up version of the 90+ manifold.

i've been wishing for this for years.

I'm going to pnp tomorrow to get an aw71 from a 90 740 turbo...I was told by a member here that it had a melted fuse box so I'm sure the tranny is good

I'd tear apart the old trans, as practice, before putting the new one in and you may find it easy to replace clutch packs, seals, etc. Then freshen up the JY trans before putting it in. Rebuild kits shouldn't cost too much.

Before mounting the trans MAKE SURE THE TORQUE CONVETER IS FULLY SEATED IN THE TRANS. I broke a pump recently due to me not seating the converter all the way.

I made the mistake of tc on my old 744...will never do that again
