Deb the 940

I need to do the accumulator mod on my 940 soon. Not looking forward to atf drip torture but I don't want to pull the trans either

Failed to get new one up with floor jack(still sore from car accident earlier in the week) so im gonna get a tranny jack this weekend and just make it easy on myself

i will never acknowledge this project as cool or valid until i see a video of it doing a burnout.

Got it done. Works well thank God....forgot how much I like the accum mod shifts. I need to adjust the kick down and linkage but otherwise it's not bad at all!

Tight as possible without it shifting over 6k rpm. I killed the last one shifting between 6500-7200! Aw71 NO LIKE LONG REV! "Than it love you long time!" :oogle: lol. ;)

Nice, you got lucky it seems! Very clean inside! My last unit had 100k but this dark film from old fluid all over the internals. Took like 40qts just to get it cherry red. And I'm a stickler for being fancy so that 40+ quart$ of Mobil 1, Redline or better! :omg:;-) (why not do the first 30 with the cheap stuff they said... *face palm*) lmao

Hah, I use Styrofoam instead of cardboard so I can just stick the bolts into my crude valvebody diagram! lol.

Ok so fuel. Am I ok just going the the in tank pump to like a walboro 255 or do I need to a Bosch 044 too or? Gonna be running bigger injectors and 3"amm soon hopefully, just don't wanna strain the stock fuel stuff

Before i installed the 20T turbo.. I wired the Walbro255 right to its stock location (the 1995 wires are actually beefy enough to handle the extra draw) I also changed the fuel filter, new Bosch green giants and a 3" AMM (012?) and a set of custom chips tailored to it all and never looked back! One of the best upgrades you can make to this car with a big turbo. (Only choice really with the stock management system)

Eliminated any problems I was having with pinging after 20psi, running lean, "the tip in issue", etc.

Thing was such a beast ever since!

you know what?s weird? i forgot what it looked like and kept picturing your black 744 with purple wheels.

Nice project, but what about the line pressure of the tranny. What does that mean and how to achieve that, I'm always wondering about that :(
