Blame @gsellstr, he caught my bad wheel bearing on Saturday, didn't let the wheel fall off while on the drive.Lies
I blame Gary for lots of things but it’s hard to blame your lack of planning on him!!!!!!!!!!!!!Blame @gsellstr, he caught my bad wheel bearing on Saturday, didn't let the wheel fall off while on the drive.
That sounds a lot better then the last minute days inn reservation I didThanks everyone for coming!!! Great to see everyone's cars and faces this year. Hope to see many of you again at IPD or SloRolling or Desert Meet later this year.
I meant to post this BEFORE Davis this year but I forgot.
Very Budget-Friendly Lodging Option Near Davis.
Cheaper than Motel 6!
It's about a 15 minute drive from Central Park and I've stayed here every year (8 years). They have tent camping, cabins, and cottages.

They are also pretty chill about parking/trailers/multiple cars. Safe area. You have to bring your own linens, pillows, towels, and soap but their bathrooms are really nice and they have other nice amenities like a pool and game room. There's also a Mavrick gas station right next door with a baller 24 hour convenience store, and super cheap Mexican food down the street.
That would be awesome Jared!
Glad y'all had fun this year, really glad we caught that wheel bearing before flogging the car and risking a failure. Definitely put in some work on the drive in my group, guessing the same for Jo's group. It was cool to see Jake out there in the 544, hanging with the faster cars as well, and for once, the only breakdown was him running out of fuel.
Hopefully everyone made it home safe, had an easy run back over this side of the hill, really glad to be home...I hate Cali drivers. lol
Missed a few years now, life and schedules conflicting keep me down here for this weekend most of the time now. I'm trying for next year, we will see how it all shakes out.
I left the show early Sunday and I ended up on a trip in Golden Gate Park.
